Maryland State law requires all motor vehicles to yield and stop for pedestrians in any crosswalk. However, cars have a de-facto automatic right of way at 120 McMechen street. MICA is in an excellent position to challenge this with minor pedestrian improvements that can make a big difference for safety of students and members of the community using the crosswalk.
